Anti Coagulation monitoring
Anti Coagulation medication can be either via:
- Warfarin which requires frequent monitoring with the nurse to ensure the correct weekly dose to administer
- Tablet form (for example Apixaban/Edoxoban) which requires regular blood tests every (3, 6 9 or 12 months) at the surgery with our phlebotomist. Your blood results will be reviewed by a clinician and you will be contacted if the clinician feels that you need to amend your dosage.
