If you require immediate necessary treatment and are residing in our local area for less than 14 days then you can register as a temporary patient providing that the temporary address which you are staying at is within our practice boundary. An example of when this would apply is for those who are holidaying and residing at a hotel, guest house or caravan park etc.
If your stay is longer than 14 days then a temporary patient request may be accepted, up to a maximum duration of 3 months, as long as you are residing at an address of a patient who is already registered at our Practice. An example of when this situation could apply is a university student returning home for a short duration or a family member relocating for a period of respite.
Please note that if you register as a temporary patient with us, you will still remain as a permanent patient at your current practice.
Unfortunately, you cannot register with us as a temporary patient if you are already a permanent patient at another practice within our local area.
Please call into the surgery for a Temporary Resident Registration Form.
