During 2022 we found that out of all the eConsults submitted to the practice, 45% were seen or spoken to by a clinician on the same day and 25% were seen or spoken to the following day.

Through patient feedback, we are aware that some patients have experienced difficulties when using the eConsult platform due to its somewhat complex and repetitive nature.  As a Practice, we also shared your concerns and escalated these to the relevant channels accordingly.

We are now pleased to announce that we will be changing our online consultation provider.  Over the forthcoming months, eConsult will be replaced with our new platform called PATCHS.

PATCHS is a fantastic new online service.

• Register for PATCHS to submit your enquiry through there and we will get back to you
• PATCHS asks a average of just 4 questions
• No need to queue on the phone
• It will be the quickest and easiest way for you to get help from a GP
• Once registered PATCHS will remember you
• You will be able to submit further requests on there in future without having to phone the practice and wait in a queue
• If the doctor or nurse decides you need an appointment, they will see you ASAP

Watch this space for more information relating to the introduction of PATCHS.  But please be assured that we will still be striving to maintain the same, or dare we say ‘better’, timescales achieved previously.
